Promoting energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies in the company
The topic of energy efficiency is very important in today’s world and has been on the agenda at WKF-GmbH for several years. In the past, various investments have been made with the aim of reducing the company’s CO2 emissions and saving energy.
A new situation analysis was carried out by an external consultant in 2018 in order to continue to identify potential energy savings in the company and to continuously improve.
The consultancy service was funded by the Free State of Thuringia via the GREEN invest programme managed by Thüringer Aufbaubank. The funds provided were co-financed by the European Union as part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
