WKF-GmbH Metallwarenfabrik is a family-run company that has focused on stamping and pressing technology since 1992. The company headquarters with 90 dedicated employees is located in the industrial estate “Am Unterwege 10” in Sömmerda. The company focuses on the production of small and large series for the automotive, building materials, fittings and electrical industries. New tools are produced in our own tool shop. All related engineering services such as design, project management, process development and advance quality planning are part of our range of services. As part of our further corporate development, we are looking for you (m/f/d) for an apprenticeship as a tool mechanic in the field of stamping and forming technology from 01. 09.2024.
Your main tasks during your 3.5-year apprenticeship
- Basic metal training (turning, milling, sawing, drilling, grinding, polishing)
- Manufacturing subsystems and repairing tools
- Manufacturing parts based on a drawing
- Maintenance of punching and forming tools
What you need
- Good qualifying secondary school certificate, secondary modern school certificate or comparable qualification
- manual dexterity
- Spatial imagination
- Enthusiasm for technical processes and precise work
